Old Bridge across the Briance River in Solignac and Noblat Bridge across the Vienne River in Saint Leonard de Noblat, Haute Vienne (France)

He became into a hermit in the Limousin forests, where he was followed by many disciples. He prayed for the wife of the King of the Franks giving birth to a male child, and it happened. As a reward, he received a piece of land in Nobiliacum (Noblat), where he founded an abbey. Around it, a village was established, which received the name of Saint-Léonard-de-Noblat.

Pont Saint Martial across the Vienne River in Limoges, Haute-Vienne (France)

Avec sa gare toujours bien limogesque
Ses trolley-bus bien limogineux
Ses maisons limogestes
Ses bars si joliment limogeouillés
Ses librairies bien limogeardes
Ses cinémas limogiques
Son théâtre bien limogéum
Ses limougeauds tranquillement limoginés.
Mes amis, là-dessus tout limogifs
De me revoir si limogieux
...
Tellement
Tellement limogiaque
De revenir chez soi.
