Pont Saint Pierre across the River Tet in Villefranche de Conflent, Pyréneés Orientales (France)
In a remote time when the magic and witchcraft still existed, many witches lived in the caves of Conflent where they spent the winter. At the end of it , they straddled their brooms and got out of the caves to celebrate the arrival of spring with the people of the village of Villefranche. So they brought them happiness, cheerfulness and prosperity throughout the year .
