To reach the vllages of Ginabat and Montoulieu, isolated in the Pyrenees, it was needed to cross a dangerous river. One day, a local asked the devil to build a bridge to avoid so difficult journey. In exchange for that, the devil demanded to take the first soul who crossed the bridge. But once the bridge was built the local opened his coat to let a black cat escape and run over the bridge! The devil was so angry that he fell from the bridge and was trapped in the whirlpool of the river.
